How to apply
You can apply for Competens Komvux Distance Learning the year you turn 20. You apply on the website of your municipality (your municipality is where you are a registered resident).
Competens provides municipal adult education on behalf of Solna, Sollentuna, Upplands Väsby, Vallentuna, Vaxholm, Danderyd, Täby and Österåker municipalities. Follow the links to apply on the municipality website.
On the municipality website you will find all the information you need for municipal adult education, including course catalogues, application forms, and application dates.
Apply no later than 25/2 for courses that start 23/4. Apply no later than 1/4 for courses that start 28/5

The digital learning platform
When attending Distance Learning via Competens, all information and education is conducted via the digital learning platform Itslearning. Among other things on Itslearning, you gain access to math labs, writing aids, and discussion forums where you can talk to other course participants. On the platform you will find all you need to keep track of your education, including your study plan, schedule, course material, documentation, and information. You attend lectures via recorded videos and have frequent contact with teachers via phone and video conference. Our students get free course material digitally on our learning platform.
